Job Description:
-Interviews technical and program management personnel to create proposal content that addresses management, implementation, and transition plans for major federal programs.
-Experience evaluating government Statement of Work (SOW) and creating effective winning proposal responses.
-Organizes material and completes writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
-Reviews published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
-Maintains records and files of work and revisions for easy retrieval
-Develops and/or selects photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate process and procedures and enhance written text.
-Familiar with Government Printing Office GPO and appropriate Style Manuals, AP, etc.
-Synthesizes complex or diverse information, collects and researches data, and uses intuition and experience to complement data.
-Generates creative solutions, translates concepts and information into images, and uses feedback to modify designs.
-Gathers and analyzes information skillfully and works well in group problem solving situations.
-Completes projects on time and budget.
-Responds promptly to internal client needs, solicits client feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance, and meets commitments.
-Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Add active Listening skills.
-Takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments, and commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
-Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
-Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, and monitors own work to ensure quality.
-Meets productivity standards, completes work in timely manner, and strives to increase productivity.

Required Skills & Experience
-5-7 years of technical writing supporting RFP's and SOW responses
-Experience evaluating government Statement of Work (SOW) and creating effective winning proposal responses.
-Must have experience supporting SLED based proposals in the telecommunications space
-Must have experience interviewing technical and program management personnel to create proposal content that addresses management, implementation, and transition plans for major federal programs
-Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project (including detailed schedule creation), and Visio.
-Must be able to work remotely
