Technical Manager (Dam/Metadata OPS)
A travel client based in Woodland hills is looking for a Technical Manager to help manage the DAM/Metadata teams. They will have two direct reports, one designated to DAM and one designated to Metadata, and those line managers have a few people under them with a total of six in the group. These teams support image metadata for marketing web and print campaigns for the company. This person needs to have enough DAM and Metadata experience that they can guide the teams with strategic decisions and initiatives. About 20% of the role will be dedicated to attending daily standup meetings as well as meeting with the creative studio, and guiding print/web workflows. having familiarity with variable data printing or print production/print workflows. This also includes troubleshooting with the DAM manager, and weekly cross functional meetings with higher level people. Another 40% of the role will be focused on process efficiency, working with stakeholders to set strong processes and workflows. They will likely be asked to look into Workfront and identifying how the team could use Workfront to support better processes, automation, and more. The last 20% will be dedicated to looking at AI and how the team could use it (within Adobe modules and other technology) to improve efficiencies, ensure the metadata is in the right state, and improve automation capabilities. With this research they will eventually be responsible for translating AI research possibilities into pitch decks with the goal of implementing better automation and content creation in partnership with the creative studio.
