Job description: DESCRIPTIONFire TV Channels (FTVC), Amazon Devices' first-party short-form and FAST video aggregation service, is looking for a talented, self-starting BD to join the team. This person will be on the frontline of content acquisition and partner management. This individual will be passionate about delivering highly engaging video content to customer on a free, ad-supported basis. He/she will be the category owner for Lifestyle, Kitchen, Comedy, and Faith-based channels. This person will work with large traditional media companies and independent digital start-ups. This role will keep one eye on its existing partnerships and the other eye on promising new ones.The right candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills. He/she will be comfortable pitching to and negotiating with external partners. They will advocate for their partners internally. This individual will know how to work seamlessly with stakeholder teams (e.g. product, marketing, editorial, legal, accounting, and finance). They will look for opportunities to grow the business through partnerships. This person will drive long-term value by prioritizing their daily workload. This person should also be comfortable with shifting priorities and quickly aligning their efforts with the then-current business goals.Key job responsibilities

Steward two or more content categories (e.g. Cooking) by devising and executing growth strategies in partnership with the Product team
Identify and secure new content partners for your assigned categories
Manage a stable of existing partners, including renewal negotiations
Orchestrate co-marketing campaigns with your partners
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
- Master's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of growing a video streaming service either on the programmer or the distributor side
- 5+ years of digital video advertising technology experience
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
