As a Teaching Professor of Mechanical Engineering, you will play a vital role in supporting our Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs. You will focus on teaching Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to our students through coursework and research opportunities, utilizing industry-leading software such as Ansys, Autodesk, Solidworks, Moldflow, and Moldex3D.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach FEA courses and support research projects in a collaborative environment
Develop and deliver high-quality educational experiences for undergraduate students
Contribute to the development of curriculum and course materials
Engage in research and scholarly activities, in collaboration with colleagues and industry partners
Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success
Requirements:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
Previous industrial experience is positively considered
Excellent teaching and communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and support FE analysis and modeling in ongoing research programs
