Location: Fully remote — work from anywhere in the U.S.
Schedule: Part-time for the 2025–2026 school year
Caseload: School-based (public school districts and/or charter schools; varies by assignment)
Requirements
Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Florida certification preferred, but not required - we will reimburse for cross-licensing!
Licensure in additional states is a plus!
Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting students with visual impairments in a school setting
Experience developing and implementing IEPs, Functional Vision Assessments (FVAs), and Learning Media Assessments (LMAs)
Skilled in adapting instructional materials and leveraging assistive technology
Comfort with virtual instruction and digital collaboration tools
Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and school teams
Organized, flexible, and passionate about making education accessible
