You'll work closely with a small, experienced team on complex returns, with exposure to service industries, equity comp, and Silicon Valley brokers. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines. • Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to provide clients with accurate advice. • Assist clients with tax planning strategies and recommendations. • Oversee the work of junior tax staff and provide mentorship and training as needed. • Review and analyze financial statements for tax implications and accurate reporting. • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications • BS Accounting + MS accounting preferred • CPA OR Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is required. • 7+ years of experience in tax preparation and review preferred • Strong experience with 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s • Required experience with Stock Plans, RSUs, Equity Stock Comp Packages • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
