Tax Preparer Support Specialist (Part-Time, Remote)

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Preparer Support Specialist to on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to our tax preparation team, assisting with various tasks that ensure a smooth and efficient tax filing process. Duties • Assist tax preparers by gathering necessary documentation and information from clients.• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage to input financial data accurately. • Provide customer service support by addressing client inquiries related to tax preparation. • Conduct analysis of financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations. • Maintain organized records of client interactions and documentation for easy retrieval. • Support marketing efforts by promoting services to potential clients through various channels. • Utilize technical accounting skills to assist in the preparation of tax returns and related documentation.• Perform bookkeeping tasks as needed, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date. Qualifications • Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred. • Strong understanding of financial concepts and tax regulations. • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage. • Excellent math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately. • Familiarity with financial sales and marketing principles is a plus. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and analysis.• Customer service experience, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with clients. • Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks. • Previous experience in bookkeeping or technical accounting is advantageous. and contribute your expertise while enjoying the flexibility of remote work!
