ā¢ In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical tax, analytical, operational, management, and client service skills with real estate clients
ā¢ Serve as clients trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team
ā¢ Manage compliance and consulting in areas of Section 1031 exchange, Section 754 step-up, Section 163(j) interest limitation, Section 1231 gain/loss calculations as well as an ability to analyze and implement certain aspects of partnership/LLC operating agreements with respect to tax applications.
ā¢ Serve as clients trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team.
ā¢ Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.
ā¢ Understand the clients organization, procedures, and internal policies.
ā¢ Understanding your clients goals and needs and servicing clients directly.
ā¢ Owning client relationships and work.
ā¢ Strategizing with Managing Directors regarding planning.
ā¢ Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth with clients.
ā¢ Researching tax and accounting issues and providing guidance to clients.
ā¢ Working closely with staff, and assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
ā¢ Foster a team environment; demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive culture.
Preferred Qualifications
ā¢ Masters degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
ā¢ 7 years experience in public accounting or related field
ā¢ 5 years supervisory
ā¢ Must have and preserve required licenses
ā¢ Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
ā¢ Proficient use of applicable technology
ā¢ Must be able to travel based on business needs
