Blazer Jobs is currently hiring a passionate Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Katy, TX. This full-time opportunity is open to both local educators and travel professionals seeking a rewarding school-year assignment in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
Position Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will deliver individualized instruction tailored to student needs and IEP goals. You will collaborate closely with families, general education teachers, and support staff to promote academic and social growth for all learners.

• Full school-year placement

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction based on IEPs
• Adapt curriculum and learning materials to meet diverse student needs
• Track and document student progress and behavioral goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
Qualifications:
• Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Prior K–12 special education experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Must meet background and fingerprint clearance requirements
