What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Identify, source, negotiate, and execute purchase agreements and contracts for goods, services, and equipment
Maintain contracts and pricing agreements while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies
Collaborate with various departments to evaluate new products and drive cost efficiencies
Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments to resolve contractual and financial issues
Conduct regular evaluations of pricing and cost savings initiatives
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare experience
Proficient in using office equipment and computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
Strong data entry skills
Familiarity with Workday software preferred
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in healthcare supply chain management or procurement
Knowledge of Value Analysis processes and practices
Familiarity with Supply Chain Information Systems (SCIS)
