Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will Do: Perform assessments of the suppliers capability to perform and sustain performance through the SHA (Supplier Health Assessment)Engage the supplier to complete the diagnosis in the Gemba and work with the supplier to develop a comprehensive gap closure planConduct weekly training and coaching on-site at the supplier to develop their teamFollow-up with the PW and supplier team to validate the gap plan and monitor progress to ensure the benefits are being achievedEstablish leading indicators of performance and track weekly, on-site at supplierIntervene to expedite deliveries and/or resolve quality issues as requiredLead impactful Continuous Improvement events at SupplierThis role is remote but applicant must be based in ConnecticutThe successful candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on-site at their assigned suppliers.Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management and 10 years of experience in Operations, Quality, and/or Continuous Improvement roles; Or and Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience in Operations, Quality, and/or Continuous Improvement rolesCertified Operations Practitioner (ACP) preferred; Business Process Practitioner optionalSix-Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt or LEAN certificateQualifications We Prefer: RTX SHA certified assessor preferredITC / BAER experience preferredMasterâs degree in management or technical fieldDemonstrated Leadership skills and a track record of accomplishment in business performance using Continuous Improvement toolsHighly effective team player able to develop and sustain team commitment and ownershipHands on experience with strong structured project management and problem-solving skillsAbility to work and communicate across all levels of leadership within the Pratt & Whitney and customer organizationExperience working with limited supervision and directionAbility to initiate, lead and sustain change activities at the supplierHighly adaptable personLearn More and Apply:What is my role type? The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
