This role is essential to ensure concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality.We are looking for a leader who is hungry, humble, and smart—someone who leads by example, builds strong teams, and takes full ownership of project outcomes.Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all field operations related to concrete foundations and flatworkEnsure health and safety is the top priority on every job siteHold General Foremen and Foremen accountable for productivity, quality, and performanceStep in to ensure project success when challenges arise or when gaps occur in supervisionPlan, schedule, and coordinate work, trades, and resources at least 6 weeks in advanceCoordinate closely with General Contractors, clients, and project stakeholdersOversee layout, forming, pouring, and finishing operations for foundations and flatworkMonitor daily production and ensure work is completed on schedule and within scopeRead and interpret project drawings and specifications to ensure accurate executionCommunicate proactively with leadership when issues or delays arisePromote a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and performanceMentor and develop field personnel, building strong and capable crewsRequirements:Minimum 2 years’ experience as a concrete laborerMinimum 2 years’ experience in foundation layoutMinimum 3 years’ experience as a concrete form-setter/finisherMinimum 3 years’ experience as a concrete ForemanMinimum 4 years’ experience as a concrete SuperintendentProven experience with flatwork, spread footing pedestals, foundations, and cast-in-place wallsStrong knowledge of concrete practices, placement, and finishing techniquesHands-on experience operating concrete finishing equipmentProven layout knowledge and ability to ensure accurate field executionAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsDemonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate complex work scopesProven track record of building and developing teamsStrong communication skills with the ability to escalate issues when neededTeam-first mentality with a focus on collaboration and shared successSelf-driven, accountable, and willing to put in the effort required to get the job doneWilling and able to travel and work extended hours as neededAble to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving recordBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) / Sick LeaveMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (paid coverage for the entire family available)401(k) with company match5-Year Employment Appreciation BonusWork Schedule:Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required by project needsReady to Join Our Team?If you're ready to bring your leadership, craftsmanship, and grit to a company that values accountability, teamwork, and excellence, apply today and be part of a team that takes pride in every foundation we build!R-2 Contractors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
