About the position

The Senior Administrative Assistant for US Retail and Licensed Stores Marketing at Starbucks provides advanced administrative support to executives, handling confidential information and exercising independent judgment. Responsibilities
• Support executives in the US Retail and Licensed Stores Marketing department with high customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Provide leadership influence and support to leaders and admin support teams to improve productivity and morale.

• Perform general administrative activities including screening calls, composing correspondence, and managing mail.
,
• Serve as a point of contact for the business unit, answering questions and directing requests appropriately.
,
• Organize and facilitate team and cross-functional meetings, conferences, and department activities.
,
• Direct and execute complex administrative projects, including budget tracking and report creation.
,
• Utilize advanced technical skills to create presentation materials, ensuring quality and confidentiality.
,
• Work with facilities to plan and organize team space maintenance and moves.
,
• Support hiring managers with new partner setup and immersion activities.
,
• Schedule executive travel, addressing all aspects to ensure productivity.
,
• Engage with the executive's direct report team to ensure alignment of priorities.
,
• Serve as a peer leader to the administrative team within the function.
,
• Advise the department on product and service use, providing training when necessary.
,
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, offering training as needed.
,
• Support the executive and team in coffee education as part of Starbucks' core business.
,
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Requirements
• High School diploma/GED or 4+ years of US military service.
,
• 5+ years of experience in administrative assistant or coordinator roles.
,
• Ability to apply multidisciplinary business principles to achieve successful outcomes.

• Demonstrates confidence, composure, and professionalism.

• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

• Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.
