Position Summary/Job Duties:

This is a summer nanny position focused on providing attentive, hands-on care and helping create a fun, structured summer for our two children.

Responsibilities include supervising and engaging two children (ages 2 and 6), partial planning and participating in outdoor play, crafts, and simple projects, driving children to local activities such as parks, the pool, the library, and museums, preparing simple lunches and snacks, and maintaining a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

Light tidying related to children’s activities is expected and cleaning up after meal/snack time. The boys love to help and we encourage them to participate in meal prep and clean up as well.

We have a large backyard with a garden and live close to several parks and our neighborhood pool. While we have plenty to do close to home, being comfortable driving children to local activities is strongly preferred.

An end-of-summer completion bonus is provided.

Qualifications:
• Experience caring for children (babysitting, camps, siblings, etc.).
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable supervising multiple children.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Non-smoker.
• Access to reliable vehicle a plus, but not required.

Physical Demands
Playing with children indoors and outdoors, walking, light lifting, biking with children, swimming supervision, and driving to local activities.

Application Instructions:

Please email Samantha at [email protected] with a brief introduction, relevant childcare experience, summer availability, and whether you are comfortable driving children to local activities. After initial introduction, one to two references will be requested as well. We look forward to hearing from you!
