About the Role:
We are seeking a charismatic, credible, and camera-ready Subject Matter Expert in freelance and gig economy work to develop and deliver a high-converting 3â5 day pre-recorded webinar series. This content will serve as both an educational asset and a strategic lead magnetâhelping prospective students see the real potential of monetizing their technical skills within weeks of learning.
This role is ideal for someone who has built a real freelance business, sold successful courses on platforms like Udemy or Skillshare, and has a strong personal brand or following in the freelancing, tech, or creator space.
What Youâll Do:
⢠Develop a 3â5 day pre-recorded webinar series (~3â5 hours total) on how to earn income as a freelance technologist (web dev, QA tester, data analyst, etc.)
⢠Script and record sessions on topics like:
⢠What is gig work and why it matters today
⢠How to earn your first $50â$500 online
⢠Portfolio & credibility-building with no prior experience
⢠Platform playbooks (Upwork, Fiverr, Contra, Reddit, Discord)
⢠Turning one gig into recurring income
⢠Design light, actionable homework for each day to build momentum (e.g. post your first listing, build a âfreedom statement,â etc.)
⢠Collaborate with our marketing and product teams to ensure your material leads into our bootcamp offerings (CT Lite or CT Pro)
⢠Participate in optional Q&A livestreams or post-launch follow-up sessions (if bandwidth allows)
What You Bring:
⢠Proven experience as a freelance technologist (developer, QA, data analyst, tech VA, or similar)
⢠Demonstrable success in monetizing your own freelance brand (and ideally, helping others do the same)
⢠Published courses, a popular YouTube channel, Udemy presence, or authorship of a book on freelancing/gig work is highly preferred
⢠Confident, energetic on-camera presenceâyouâre not just an expert, youâre a motivator and closer
⢠Strong curriculum instincts: you know how to break complex things into 30â45 minute digestible, inspiring sessions
⢠Ability to speak credibly across multiple technical verticals (coding, data, QA) even if not an expert in each
