SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Telemarketers will be responsible for making calls to alumni and friends of the University to inform and primarily raise annual funds. This person will be responsible for recording gifts and information during each call. This individual should be able to operate a phone and have good phone etiquette. This position requires someone who is self- motivating, willing to learn and responsible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Initiates phone calls to selected donors, using both local and long-distance telephone system.
• Receives and interprets information, using pledge forms pertinent to appropriate follow-up, such as needed pledge input and pledge reminders, credit card information intake.
• Provides general information about the University to students, parents, alumni, board members and other stakeholders of the University to solicit funds.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Be enrolled as full-time student at Schreiner University.
• Training will be provided.
