As a Machinist, you will play a critical role in producing precision parts of varying complexity, working on night shifts or weekends with a competitive salary and shift differential. Job Summary:
As an Experienced Machinist, you will be responsible for planning materials, fitting and assembling parts, setting up and operating machines and equipment, producing precision parts, performing secondary operations, inspecting completed parts, and completing documentation. You will be a key member of our team, working in a fast-paced environment to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and verify materials, methods, and sequences of operations for each job
Fit and assemble parts into complete assemblies according to customer specifications
Set up machines and equipment, ensuring appropriate feeds and speeds
Operate machines and equipment to produce precision parts of varying complexity
Perform secondary operations on assemblies using hand tools
Inspect completed parts and assemblies according to specifications
Complete required documentation for all jobs
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
A related machine trades certificate/diploma and two years of relevant experience, or six years of relevant experience
Experience with milling, turning, or grinding
Experience setting up and operating machine tools
Intermediate ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications
Proficient in the use of machinist hand tools and measuring tools
Machine shop math skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment
Demonstrated problem-solving ability in a machine shop environment
Experience using an ERP system

Weekend Shift: 25% shift differential
