Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
Category Management and Contract Execution: Partner with internal (commercial and technical) stakeholders on clarifying short and long-term IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance sourcing requirements whilst leading the development of supplier negotiation strategies. Own opportunity assessment and initiation through contract execution.
Supplier Relationship Management: Lead commercial and contractual requirements across ServiceNow's IT Hardware supplier profile. Craft unique supplier strategies that align to stakeholders' requirements.
RFx Management: Supplier interface for all RFI, RFP and RFQs. Conduct proper TCO Modeling of RFx proposals, present RFx results to stakeholders, and drive towards the closure of a sourcing decision.
Competitive Benchmarking and Market Research: Stay up to date on IT Hardware and IaaS market dynamics to ensure Category is properly managed. Guide stakeholders on changes in market dynamics.
Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with internal Sustainability teams to support Sustainability requirements with suppliers. Drive suppliers towards improving Sustainability efforts.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Actively seek out industry knowledge through research, trade shows, conferences and online training, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor
Manage, advise, and engage in the sourcing and contracting processes in the IT Hardware, IaaS and Hardware and Software Maintenance and Support categories.
Conduct supplier analysis, evaluate potential suppliers, and support the overall supplier qualification process.
Drive best value supplier selection to drive year over year savings on over $600M spend.
Develop and create sourcing plans and hardware category strategies, requests for proposal, and other sourcing strategies.
To be successful in this role you have:
7+ years of sourcing experience within the IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance services categories, preparing cost models, negotiating with suppliers, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
Experience working with industry leading suppliers such as Dell, Cisco, Juniper, IBM, Apple, Lenovo and value-added resellers, etc.
Experience working within the client and peripherals/consumables sourcing category.
Knowledge of hardware leasing (i.e., printers, MFP devices, laptops, etc.)
Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes, with an analytical and results focused approach.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
Experience with RFx processes, contract process, and sourcing best practices.
Strong negotiations skills with a track record of crafting negotiation strategies and achieving optimal results.
First-class professional and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external relationships at all levels and across all cross-functional disciplines.
Excellent organization and time management skills to oversee concurrent projects, tasks, and deadlines.
Have demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategy, governance, and structure in a rapidly changing environment.
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $112,200 - $196,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
