About the position
The Finance Analyst of Retailer Partnerships at Instacart plays a crucial role in supporting business development and sales teams by analyzing and improving deal outcomes. Responsibilities
Ā Serve as the direct business partner to the head of new retailer partnerships and major retailer teams.

Ā Identify and execute on opportunities to improve deal outcomes.

Ā Work across teams to establish deal terms that align incentives across all stakeholders in the ecosystem.

Ā Run analysis on ROI, payback, and strategic value of each major deal.

Ā Develop, monitor, and drive deeper understanding of the entire P&L to improve unit economics and report on key metrics tracking.

Ā Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and analysis using SQL to self-serve data for analyses.
Requirements
Ā Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other related field.

Ā 3-5 years work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated financial acumen and a track record of leveraging data for business impact.

Ā Highly proficient in advanced Excel modeling with strong attention to detail.
,
Ā Basic knowledge of SQL is required.
,
Ā Ability to use data to identify and quantify opportunities for growth or profitability improvement.
,
Ā Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, developing frameworks and providing recommendations.

Ā A self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
