PaceMate™ Strategic Account Executive (full-time, remote)Location: (remote) USAWe are currently looking to fill positions with candidates that reside in CA, WA, ID, OR, NV, AR, NM, KS, MO, OK, TX, PA, ME, NJ, NY, VT, ME, CT, RI, MA or NH only. We are currently seeking a Strategic Account Executive is responsible for owning the strategic, executive-level, and commercial partnership with high-value electrophysiology (EP), cardiology, and heart failure practices across enterprise hospital systems and IDNs. This role ensures PaceMate delivers measurable clinical, operational, and business value while driving long-term account growth, retention, and expansion.The Strategic Account Executive operates above day-to-day operational support, focusing on executive alignment, strategic planning, escalation management, renewals, and upsell opportunities. This role leads Quarterly Business Reviews, partners cross-functionally to resolve high-impact issues and driving growth through upselling and strategic expansion. The Strategic Account Executive plays a critical role in strengthening customer loyalty, expanding enterprise adoption, and generating references that support future sales growth and market expansion.PaceMate offers those employees working full-time a robust compensation and benefit package to include Health and Prescription coverage, Dental, Vision, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, AD&D, Flexible Spending Account, Healthcare Savings Account, 401k Retirement Savings, Discount Program, Employee Assistance Program, Financial Wellness Program, Paid Time Off, Identity Theft Protection, Legal Insurance, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and Accident Coverage.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:  Serve as the strategic and executive point of contact for accounts in assigned geographyBuild and maintain trusted relationships with executive, clinical, and operational leadershipCollaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Clinical, and Customer Success teams to drive strategic outcomesGain a deep understanding of customer clinical strategy, operational priorities, and business objectivesTranslate operational performance into executive-level insights and ROILead and present Quarterly and Annual Business ReviewsIdentify, position, and close upsell and expansion opportunitiesServe as escalation owner when issues impact clinical trust, executive confidence, or commercial outcomesServe as the lead point of contact for all Key Accounts while building and nurturing trusted, long-lasting relationshipsCollaborate with Sales, marketing, product development and customer success teams to ensure business progressGain a deep understanding of the client’s clinical & business strategy, clinical workflows and needs Develop tactics that will deliver the most appropriate products or servicesUse of communication skills to present to and influence key stakeholders in the sales processProvides clients with product information, demonstrations, analytics, etc.Create key opinion leaders / reference sites within each current Key Account customer & regionResponsible for both maintaining and growing business in contracted groupsManage expenses within budgetRe-Sign current customers on longer term agreements and contract renewalsActive involvement in weekly and quarterly sales planning processKey Responsibilities: Overall Account OwnershipOwn the strategic health, retention, and growth of assigned enterprise accountsMaintain multi-year account plans aligned to customer goals and PaceMate strategyExecutive EngagementLead Quarterly and Annual Business ReviewsAlign PaceMate solutions to executive priorities and enterprise initiativesDrive Enterprise-wide standardizationBusiness DevelopmentDrive expansion through additional clinics, service lines, or offeringsSupport pricing changes and contract renewalsIdentify and develop add-on services opportunitiesEscalation & Risk ManagementLead escalations when operational issues rise to executive or strategic impactPartner with internal teams to drive resolution and recovery plansRelationship DevelopmentPhysician relationshipsKOL identification and developmentReference site / references nurturingOnboarding ResponsibilitiesServe as Executive SponsorAttend Onboardings & Workflow Design MeetingsSet the ongoing business development expectationsQUALIFICATIONS: Core Competencies, Skills and Experience Requirements3-5 years of experience in complex healthcare account management or healthcare enterprise SaaS3-5 Years of team management in healthcareProven experience owning post-sale revenue, renewals, and expansionStrong executive presence with the ability to engage physicians, administrators, and senior leadersExperience working with hospital systems, IDNs, or large multi-site healthcare organizationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComputer literate with Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPointSales Management experienceCRM/Cardiology Account Management Experience Required; EP experience strongly preferred EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or Equivalent 4-year Technical Degree REQUIRED EQUIPMENTMust have access to stable, reliable internet access.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to remain in a stationary position, constantly operate a computer or other office equipment, and frequently communicate with customers and employees.
