About the role We are seeking an experienced storyboard revisionist to join an upcoming 2D adult animation project. You will work closely with Producers, Artists, Animators and Designers. This position collaborates with the creative team to ensure that the storyboards are consistent with the vision and they effectively communicate the story. What you'll do • Working with episodic directors regarding the look, style and feel for the storyboard production • Interpreting and breaking down scripts to identify key scenes and plan them visually • Sequencing the scenes from the script into storyboard format using Storyboard Pro • Including key scene directions within each frame • Ensure that all storyboards are delivered on time and within budget • Revising storyboard scenes during the course of production Qualifications • A minimum of one year of experience creating storyboards in an animation or cinematic environment preferred • Strong understanding of board fundamentals and filmmaking principles for animation production • Strong acting ability (dramatic or comedy) • Expert of key pose sketching in 2D storyboarding • Capable of creating 2D animatics • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Knowledge of software and hardware including Cintiq, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro and Photoshop • Understanding and use of 3D storyboard techniques is a plus • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills to effectively complete projects Pay Range: $2,000-$2,450/weekly Apply tot his job
