Join us as we reshape the physical world with digital precision, starting with retail and expanding far beyond!ABOUT THE JOBThe Store Planner Partner is an important support role within RADAR’s Store Planning team that helps deliver RADAR’s mission to digitize physical retail spaces. This role supports the Store Planning team by transforming raw LiDAR scans and artifacts into accurate architectural outputs using a variety of CAD tools. You’ll work closely with Operations and other technical teams to help build the coordinate-based systems that power RADAR’s real-time location platform.This is an entry-level position for someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited by the intersection of spatial data, technology, and retail design. If you enjoy working with architectural models and want to help shape the future of how physical spaces interact with digital systems, this is the role for you.In your first 30days, you will:Learn about RADAR's mission, history, and core technologyComplete onboarding and get up to speed on the tools used by the Store Planning teamMeet team members across Store Planning, Design, Operations, Deployment, and EngineeringBegin hands-on work with guidance—starting with foundational CAD tasksObserve and document key planning workflows and participate in team meetingsIn your first 60 days, you will:Participate in advanced training for LiDAR processing and spatial data integrationAnalyze LiDAR scans and assist with architectural drafting using SketchUp, Rhino, or RealWorksBegin handling more complex assignments independentlyContribute to ongoing improvement of CAD workflows and documentation practicesHelp maintain accurate project records and drawing archivesIn your first 90 days, you will:Take ownership of key planning tasks and quality control for deliverablesCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure store designs align with RADAR’s location technology requirementsIdentify opportunities to automate manual processesCreate and update documentation on best practices, tools, and workflowsReflect on progress and set growth goals with your managerABOUT YOURequired:You have familiarity with architectural drafting or store planning workflowsYou have exposure to CAD tools such as Rhino, SketchUp, or AutoCADYou have the ability to interpret 2D and 3D plans and translate spatial data into usable formatsYou have a strong attention to detail and passion for getting things rightYou are comfortable learning new technologies and working in a startup-paced environmentYou have excellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred:You have experience with LiDAR point cloud data or reality capture toolsYou have knowledge of commercial construction or retail environmentsYou have familiarity with tools like RealWorks, CloudCompare, or related platformsYou have curiosity about how technology and spatial data intersectAt RADAR, your pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role is a non-exempt position at $25.00 - $35.00 an hour with eligibility for overtime Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
