Key Responsibilities
• Customer Relations and Business Growth
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive business growth and brand loyalty
• Identify and leverage business-to-business partnership opportunities
• Obtain customer referrals and participate in community events
• Team Leadership and Development
• Coach and develop team members to maximize their potential
• Assist with employee management and training
• Foster a positive and productive work environment
• Performance Management
• Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze performance reports and train team members on various metrics
• Assist in managing overall store performance
• Operational Management
• Maintain office security and conduct proper opening and closing procedures
• Manage vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits
• Oversee account management and recovery processes
• Partner with vendors on auctions, vehicle sales, and moving consignment
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws
• General Management
• Assist in running day-to-day operations in the absence of the General Manager
• Utilize personal vehicle for bank deposits and other company business
• Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Work Schedule
Full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, including limited Saturday hours. Regular in-person attendance is essential.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or higher preferred)
• 1-2 years of supervisory and management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
• Ability to pass a background check, including motor vehicle report
Preferred Skills And Experience
• Leadership experience in sales or customer service
• Retail, sales, or financial industry background
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (may be required for certain locations)
Physical Requirements
The role frequently requires the ability to remain in a stationary position, move freely inside and outside the store, and operate office equipment such as computers and keyboards.
