Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Ensure the daily use of safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
Study and interpret blueprints and take measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Operate angle grinders to prepare liner plates and parts.
Weld corrugated steel parts according to specifications.
Test and inspect materials and structures for defects and ensure structural integrity.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Qualifications:
OSHA 10 certification and TWIC card or willingness to obtain.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior Stick welding experience on corrugated steel.
Prior experience using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), manual arc welding (MMAW) and/or flux shielded welding to join materials.
