We are hiring an Experienced Box Truck Delivery Driver in Portland, ME & surrounding areas. We are a Delivery Service Partner to one of the largest Home Improvements Department Stores looking for full-time candidates who are dependable, reliable, & can perform a physical job while working independently.
Our Delivery Drivers drive 26ft. box trucks delivering large and bulky items in & surrounding the Portland, ME area. Become part of a team culture where you can learn, grow & thrive!
Job Expectations:
Drive to the home of the local home improvement stores, load trucks, and drive & deliver packages safely & punctually in all weather conditions.
Expect to work approximately 8-10 hours per day.
Deliver anywhere between 15 20 deliveries per day.
Operate the handheld device provided and ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers and local store associates.
Job Requirements:
Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to drive a 26ft box truck.
Ability to lift to 100 lbs.
Have customer service & problem-solving skills.
Be a team player.
