Staff Attorney - Remote
We are currently seeking a dedicated Staff Attorney to join our national law firm, a leading law firm in Albuquerque. This can be done remotely from anywhere in New Mexico and is direct hire with a full benefits package. As a Staff Attorney, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and expertise to our clients. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues. • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings. • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients. • Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings. • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and execution. • Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations affecting our clients. • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation. Requirements: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the NM state bar and in good standing. • 1+ years of experience working as an Associate or similar role in a law firm. • Strong legal research and writing skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office suite.
