Staff Accountant

Job Description: Accountants support our general ledger accounting team and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. What you’ll do: Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations Preparation and review of fixed assets and prepaid expenses Assisting with the implementation of new systems and integration of acquired companies Assisting with financial statement audits and accounting projects Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required Experience you’ll bring: Strong understanding of US GAAP Advanced knowledge of Excel Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytic abilities and time management Some public accounting experience preferred Master’s degree in accounting preferred Requirements: Requires a minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience; a Bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree without experience. This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Draper, UT, or Westlake/Dallas, TX offices should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
