Sr Title Examiner – Secured Land Transfers LLC- US Based Remote

We are seeking a highly skille dSenior Title Examiner with 5+ years of title examination experience with Residential Lot/Block properties. The ideal candidate will perform thorough title searches, review title documents, and prepare commitments. Texas experience is required, and multi-state expertise is valued. Our Title Group is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting, and vendor management services company serving consumers, real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations, and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.Job Responsibilities • Conduct thorough searches of public records and complete examinations to assess property status of title, adhering to regulatory standards and Underwriter policies. • Review documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages, deeds, probate records, and trust agreements. • Read and interpret real estate documents, legal proceedings, maps, and surveys. • Assemble Title Commitments for issuance of Final Title Policies. • Communicate effectively with Underwriters, Title Officers, Escrow Officers, and Escrow Processing Teams.• Mentor junior examiners on various title issues. Qualifications • 5 years of title examination experience, including at least 1–2 years of Texas experience. • Residential Lot/Block examination experience required, with Acreage (metes and bounds) experience preferred. • Proficient in the use of Title Data (TIMS), Deed Plotter, and have experience with County Government websites. • Good research and investigation skills; understanding of legal terms and awareness of new legislation affecting real property.• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation. • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities with strong organizational skills. • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use software applications (bolthires Outlook, Word, Acrobat). • Attention to detail combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
