Sr Thermal Mechanical Design Engineer

This stealth startup company is bringing in an experienced and innovative Thermal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization for high-performance computing architecture. As a technical leader of the thermal mechanical engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet demanding performance, thermal, and reliability specifications for hyperscale data centers and cloud providers.

Responsibilities
• Develop innovative cooling solutions to optimize thermal performance and efficiency in high-power applications, leveraging expertise in fluid dynamics and heat transfer
• Conduct comprehensive thermal and mechanical analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize system design, ensuring reliable and efficient operation
• Design and test prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with performance and safety criteria, utilizing a combination of simulation and experimental methods
• Analyze test results and iterate designs to achieve optimal performance, ensuring that the cooling solution meets the needs of the application and minimizes energy consumption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the cooling solution into the overall system design, ensuring seamless operation and optimal thermal performance

Qualifications
• Advanced engineering degree (mechanical, electrical engineering, etc.)
• 5+ years of industry experience related to thermal mechanical engineering
• Direct experience in designing and implementing liquid cooling solutions for data center applications
• A startup mentality is required
