Sr. Systems Administrator

What you'll be doing:
• Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of services and system software and related infrastructure
• Ensure systems, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values
• Manage/maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline our development processes and deployments.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues and provide escalated technical support
• Build tools to reduce the occurrences of errors and improve the customer experience
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Design and implement appropriate levels of security within the systems.
• Document processes, systems, and procedures in detail.
• Plan, schedule, and execute regular system patching and updates across all servers (Linux and/or Windows)
• Develop and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
• On Call Rotation

What we need from you:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or HS diploma plus equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in Linux (Ubuntu) systems administration in a SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools like Git
• Experience with systems monitoring software and systems
• Experience with automation/ integration tools like GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Golang.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware)
• Strong experience with Windows and Active Directory
• Knowledge of Networking: VLANS, Switching, Routing, firewalls, Load Balancers
• Experience with Windows, Active Directory, Ubuntu Linux
• Experience with Tomcat Application Servers on Linux
• Operational Support: VPNs, SFTP, SSL Certificates
• Log management and review
• Maintaining Payment Card Industry Digital Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliance

Salary Range: $90,000- $125,000
