Sr. Strategy Analyst

Grocery Outlet is a fast-growing retailer focused on providing value to bargain-minded consumers in the U.S. The Sr. Strategy Analyst will play a crucial role in driving analytical insights and supporting strategic projects that enhance operational execution and growth within the organization. Responsibilities Support long-term strategic growth initiatives, planning, and general business analysis both independently, within the strategy team, and with other departments Perform general analysis and synthesize of information to support board and executive team meetings Own analysis, implementation, and next steps for topics including pricing, operational performance, marketing effectiveness, and other initiatives that drive gross profit Perform market basket analysis to recommend changes in merchandising or pricing Conduct ad-hoc Grocery Outlet performance, financial, and market analyses to inform strategic decision-making Identify and pursue additional product-driven analysis and initiatives to drive growth Support long-term strategic growth/improvement initiatives, planning, execution, and reporting Skills Bachelor's degree 1-3 years relevant work experience (Consulting/Banking, Operations, Business Strategy, FP&A, or Retail Analyst) Strong analytical and statistical skills Excellent at structuring analysis and identifying key metrics to get to an “answer” Creative and innovative thinker Inquisitive nature Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across all departments and up and down all levels Self-starter who can manage own work Strong interest in retail Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Benefits Annual Bonus Program Equity 401(k) Profit Sharing Medical, Dental, Vision & More!
