Sr. QA Automation Engineer (Remote) (Selenium, JavaScript, Typescript) NO C2C

Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and implement test automation for the testing of software product
• Define test process including required test activities, deliverables, and test schedule
• Understand how changes impact work upstream and downstream including various back end and front-end architectural modules
• As a member of the scrum team, closely interact with both onsite and offshore team members. The onsite and offshore interactions include scrum team members (Scrum masters, developers, Product Owners and QA at onsite and offshore)
• Define test data conditions and partners and works closely with Data team to obtain the data
• Actively participate in all phases of testing (In sprint functional testing, integration testing and regression)
• Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans, test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of tool sets to augment QA and Development testing
• Business requirement analysis, test design, defect logging and tracking
• Perform manual/exploratory testing where needed
• Actively engage in defect reporting and triaging
Qualifications:
• 7 + years of experience in testing with automation experience
• Actual hands-on experience in programming with JavaScript and Typescript
• Experience with Selenium
• Good understanding on Git/CI CD pipeline terminologies
• Experience with SQL and Database/backend testing
• Working experience with API automation frameworks
• Experience with API virtualization or mocking (CA DevTest, Parasoft Virtualize, WireMock or Hoverfly)
• Experience with Docker, Containers and Images
Nice to have skills:
• Experience with Cypress would be a plus
• AWS and Cucumber (BDD) experience is a plus
• Healthcare domain knowledge a plus
• Strong experience in testing methodologies and software testing principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with test management tools like Rally, Jira Align
