Job Description:
Build an end-to-end solution with Power BI:
Data query:
Mastery of the PBI "Get data" step, including:
Accessing any data source provided within PBI "Get data"
SQL embedded queries
Power Query Editor data transformations and query management
Use of M script
Query folding
Direct SQL queries
Transformations:
Mastery of DAX
Validation and debugging
Maximizing performance
Computes and aggregations to support the data model
Data modeling, including expertise in:
Schema design
DAX analytic queries to filter, group, or summarize
Implicit and explicit measures
Calculated tables and columns
Visualization and report development, including mastery in:
Requirements definition
Design and development of wireframes
PBI visualizations
Report navigation
Interactions
Drill throughs
Dashboards
Buttons, bookmarks, and selections
PBI natural language question design
Distribution, including experience with:
PBI Workspaces
PBI Apps
Azure-based PBI report management
Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with data modeling tools and methodologies.
Knowledgeable in database system applications, stored procedures and data warehousing.
Intermediate or higher proficiency with SQL
Strong professional skills in verbal and written communication, project management and consultation
Knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in related skillsets
Able to perform work that is varied and somewhat difficult in nature
Able to perform work with minimal to moderate supervision; able to apply and interpret business rules and concepts in daily work
