You will leverage your expertise in Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of Kubernetes principles and hands-on experience with modern container management tools and technologies in cloud environments.Essential duties and responsibilities:Design and implement scalable Kubernetes clusters across multiple AWS
regions and availability zonesConfigure and manage advanced Kubernetes features including customcontrollers, operators, and CRDs● Architect, develop and deploy AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Crossplaneand other IaC tools with emphasis on Kubernetes components● Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines for our GitOps IaC and K8ssolutions with ArgoCD, Kargo and ArgoWorkflows● Manage and optimize K8s clusters, focusing on performance tuning, resourceoptimization, and governance● Improve systems and applications observability with Kubernetes-native
monitoring solutionsOversee FinOps for Kubernetes workloads, ensuring cost efficiency through
proper resource requests and limitsDevelop and maintain pod security policies and network policies to ensuresecure communication between services, administer Cilium● Collaborate with Development teams, System Architects, and Product Managers on ongoing migration to Kubernetes platforms● Contribute to the knowledge base and share Kubernetes best practices
Education, Experience & Skills:Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field● Expert in Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration● 5+ years of Linux experience with focus on containerization technologies● 5+ years of building and maintaining a SaaS platform with microservices
architecture4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments● 3+ years of experience with advanced Kubernetes features (StatefulSets,DaemonSets, CRDs, Controllers)● 3+ years of experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux● 2+ years of experience using Terraform for infrastructure deployment● 2+ years of experience with Helm for Kubernetes application deployment● Strong understanding of container networking, storage, and security bestpractices● Ability to program with one or more high-level languages for Kubernetesautomation● Experience with Kubernetes monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, andJaeger● Must be passionate about container orchestration and infrastructure as code
Base compensation for this role is: $146,400.00 - $185,100.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay this position includes a variable compensation. The role might also be potentially eligible to long term Incentive.
