Sr. Motion Designer
About the position Docusign is in need of a Motion Designer to create motion and animation assets within our marketing touchpoints. In this position, you'll create world-class animations to drive rich narrative elements. You'll work closely on the Brand & Creative team with writers and producers to deliver quality work that drives business results. You'll be hands-on in crafting work that delivers across integrated touchpoints, from campaigns, email, web, display, product UI, and more. As a motion designer, you'll be responsible for using a variety of apps, including Figma, Illustrator, After Effects and Frame.io leveraging a multitude of hands-on skills. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Group Creative Director, Brand and Marketing. Responsibilities • Help concept storyline and visuals to accompany scripts • Help design storyboards and animation tests for proof of concept • Animate a variety of styles and techniques in 2D • Help build a library of core brand animations for use across multiple touchpoints • Maintain and apply knowledge of brand identity systems while also exploring opportunities to evolve these systems to support stakeholders as needed • Help prepare pitches to internal clients and stakeholders • Manage time well to meet deadlines and delivery schedule • Communicate project status updates to project managers, producers and creative directors • Navigate ambiguity to drive the design cycle and multitask in a fast-paced environment Requirements • 8+ years of experience specializing in animation and design • Experience with After Effects, Premier, Illustrator and Figma • Portfolio and/or reel featuring brand work, product UI, illustration and icon animation Nice-to-haves • Experience with Javascript and HTML5 animation bringing your life to work through code • In-House or Agency experience with robust portfolio • Experience with prototyping tools • Internal and external agency experience • Experience working in a complex and global environment • Experience with Blender and/or other 3D animation tools Benefits • Paid Time Off: earned time off, as well as paid company holidays based on region • Paid Parental Leave: take up to six months off with your child after birth, adoption or foster care placement • Full Health Benefits Plans: options for 100% employer paid and minimum employee contribution health plans from day one of employment • Retirement Plans: select retirement and pension programs with potential for employer contributions • Learning and Development: options for coaching, online courses and education reimbursements • Compassionate Care Leave: paid time off following the loss of a loved one and other life-changing events Apply tot his job
