Amtrak is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Senior Manager of our Cyber Command Center. As the leader of our Cyber Command Center, you will play a critical role in protecting Amtrak's digital assets and infrastructure from cyber threats. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in cybersecurity, strong leadership skills, and a dedication to keeping our organization safe. Lead and oversee the operations of the Cyber Command Center to ensure the protection of Amtrak's digital assets and infrastructure from cyber threats. Develop and implement strategies to proactively identify and mitigate potential cyber risks. Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and make recommendations for improvements to Amtrak's cybersecurity policies and procedures. Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Collaborate with other departments and teams within Amtrak to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to cybersecurity. Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as government agencies and cybersecurity vendors, to stay informed and leverage resources when necessary. Create and maintain incident response plans and lead the response to any cybersecurity incidents or breaches. Communicate cybersecurity updates and policies to all employees to promote a culture of security awareness. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures and make recommendations for improvements as needed. Stay compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cybersecurity.
