Sr. JD Edwards Finance Consultant IDEAL CANDIDATE Are you a Sr. JD Edwards Finance consultant that likes variety and change? WHAT YOU'LL BRING: • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a JDE User in a variety of Accounting/Finance areas focused on financial modules including GL, AP, AR & Fixed Assets. • 10 years of experience as a JDE Support resource in a variety of Accounting/Finance areas focused on financial modules including GL, AP, AR & Fixed Assets. • 10 years of relevant accounting/financial experience with a solid understanding of common accounting processes and terminology as well as working in areas related to financial reporting and/or transaction processing. • Experienced user of standard desktop applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, email applications (Outlook, G-mail), various browsers (Edge, Chrome). • Solid communication skills. Be able to present a knowledgeable and confident presence when communicating with clients and colleagues. • Desired: Experience in a professional services or consulting company • Desired: Light experience with JDE development & other technical skills in areas such as Databases, SQL, Command Batch scripts, Windows Servers, Integrations between systems. • Desired: Experience in Service Desk functions such as ticket triage, analysis & resolution. • Useful: Other ERP experience (Oracle SaaS, Oracle E-biz or others) in a financials capacity. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Provide Support, Troubleshooting, Documentation and Development for KS2 Clients including, but not limited to: • * Provide JD Edwards functional/application support for managed services and projects using creative and critical thinking skills. • Work closely with client business managers and end users to understand their processes and procedures. • Test and document application customizations, fixes and interfaces. • Consult with users, technology liaisons, applications support personnel, and developers when researching solutions. • Assist with JD Edwards development. • Use SQL and Scripting languages for data analysis and issue resolution. • Identify process improvements, requirements and document with Solution Design Documents and Technical Specifications as needed. • * Structures and organizes own work to deliver individually on priorities and client needs to drive results. • Creation and maintenance of unit, acceptance, and integration test scripts. • Client Engagement • Perform billable work for clients for assigned statements of work including managed services and discrete projects.
