You'll work in a creative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment at the center of Amazon's innovation.We're looking for a talented Sr.Front-End Engineer to lead UI development, collaborate with product managers, UX designers, UX researchers , Scientists and SDEs to design, develop, and test innovative automotive-shopping experiences for our customers. Define scalable front end architectures, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall user experience
Define best practices for front end development
Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, Science and generalist Software Development Engineers to deliver the product.
*Lead planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement

Take responsibility for technical problem-solving, creatively meeting product goals, and developing best practices.
You will design and develop wide variety of front-end technologies, web applications and mobile apps
Mentor and support the growth of other engineers.
A day in the life
In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on one of Amazon's newest business ventures. As a key member, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, operations, and business development to bring innovative solutions to our customers.
Your engineering expertise will be leveraged to research and deliver novel solutions to existing problems, explore emerging problem spaces, and create new knowledge. You will invent and apply state-of-the-art technologies, UX design patterns, machine learning to build next-generation solutions for millions of Amazon customers.About the team
This is a critical role for a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We're collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
- Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
