Sr. Engineer Remote Long Term Contract Key Responsibilities Lead site turn-ups and First Office Application (FOA) deployments for new SMF/UPF environments. Perform customer and account migrations with zero service interruption. Develop and execute automation scripts for pre/post checks, on-air validation, and migration workflows. Collaborate with transport teams to integrate with Cisco/Nokia SR fabric. Ensure smooth handoff to operations teams and support transition to production. Work within approved maintenance windows, primarily during night shifts, to minimize customer impact. Assist with OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Helm deployments in a Linux environment. Must-Have Skills 2 to 4 years of experience with: OpenStack Kubernetes Docker (including docker-compose) Linux system administration Hands-on experience with Ericsson SMF/UPF components Strong understanding of project management fundamentals: -Task tracking and deadline management -Status reporting and stakeholder communication Scripting and automation using: Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
