IP, Valuation & Management Consulting Internship

Join J.S. Held as an Intellectual Property Intern to perform financial analyses, research, and client engagement in a dynamic consulting environment. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Construct financial analyses, including building complex models • Perform technology, industry, and company-specific research • Draft client presentations, pitch books, reports, letters, or memoranda • Assist with intellectual property landscape analysis and evaluation of patents/patent portfolios for salability • Identify and engage contacts at bolthires companies • Interact with clients and management teams About YouThe company is looking for: • Pursuing undergraduate business degree in finance, accounting or bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, or hard or computer science with applicable work experience • Relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A, corporate finance, and/or intellectual property preferred • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail • Advanced user of bolthires Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Strong financial modeling skills, including advanced understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies • Excellent oral and written communication skills • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and flexibility • Self starter with strong sense of ownership and urgency • Great attitude and client presence • Ability to go to the office 2-3 days a week in Chicago, IL • Applicants must possess work authorization in the U.S.without employer visa sponsorshipCompensation & Benefits • Hourly salary range of $30 to $35, based on skillset, experience, training, location, and role scope • Flexible work environment allowing remote work when needed • Supportive environment accommodating team members’ needsThis job may close before the stated closing date, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible Report this job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
