Develop and maintain data management plans and protocols for various clinical research studies. Oversee data collection, entry, and cleaning procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the research process. Manage and analyze large datasets using statistical software and other tools. Create and maintain databases to store and organize research data. Train and supervise data management team members on data entry and quality control processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies related to data management. Develop and implement data validation processes to identify and resolve data discrepancies. Participate in study team meetings and provide input on data-related issues and solutions. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for data management processes. Monitor and track data management timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion. Communicate regularly with study team members to provide updates on data management progress. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in clinical research data management. Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure data integration and sharing. Maintain confidentiality and security of all research data. Prepare and present data reports to study investigators and stakeholders. Assist with the preparation of grant applications and study proposals. Provide guidance and support to junior data management staff. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the data management team.
