Sr. Art Director, Motion Design (Remote)

Job Summary Marcom oversees all advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications. The Sr. Art Director is an experienced individual contributor who has lead responsibility for creating innovative and compelling motion design solutions that meet requirements outlined in Apple’s creative briefs. Responsible for planning, conception and executing projects independently, or most often by working with junior creative staff, vendors and freelancers. Responsible for leading the successful creation and production of motion design solutions, following creative direction from the appropriate Creative Director. Plans and directs all aspects of assigned projects and serves as an integral member of the creative team. Has a strong knowledge of the creative development process. Consistently delivers superior design. Effectively scales design solutions in accordance with project constraints and parameters. Key Qualifications • 10+ years of experience. • Accountable for successful conception and execution of creative and art direction on assigned projects, projects including but not limited to: New Product Initiatives, hardware momentum campaign, seasonal campaign, internal or external event graphic package, retail and channel displays, motion graphics for films and videos. • Executes high quality design work on assigned projects in a variety of media. Regularly reviews creative work with the Group Creative Directors from different Brand and Design pods to get feedback on direction, and to ensure the art direction is aligned with Design Team. • Fully accountable for monitoring creative team’s progress against creative brief and schedules on assigned projects. • Relied upon to conceive of, design and lead the development of high quality creative work that pushes the Apple brand forward. • Conducts persuasive creative presentations to peers, leadership and executive members within the company. Description • Expert ability to develop well-conceived, innovative, flexible motion design systems that implement strategy.. • Significant experience with motion design, typography, branding, 3D animation, live action film/video, etc. • Ability to interpret creative vision from leadership and disseminate that vision to lead junior creative staff members, vendors, and freelancers. Providing guidance and mentorship. • Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills. • Excellent design skills accompanied by the ability to guide and evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development. • Ability to communicate effectively with creative and project management staff, engendering trust and respect. • Great presentation skills. • Excellent written and oral skills. • Deep knowledge in animation toolsets, including, but not limited to, After effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, C4D or equivalent 3D package. Education A Bachelor’s degree or meaningful experience is required. • Hours may fluctuate based on project needs Apply tot his job
