About the position
The ITOC Sr Admin is a hands-on technical role responsible for administering and supporting systems across a multi-site environment. This position involves managing major incidents, guiding team members, and ensuring the integrity and availability of systems while providing excellent support to end users and business teams.
Responsibilities
Ā Manage, coordinate, and communicate all Priority 1 incidents until fully resolved.

Ā Guide and coach ITOC team members in analyst and admin roles.
,
Ā Handle all escalations and senior leader communications.
,
Ā Perform daily system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of all systems.
,
Ā Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs.
,
Ā Administer and monitor corporate and managed services cloud-based systems.
,
Ā Develop, maintain, and use automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.
,
Ā Assist with patch management in production environments.
,
Ā Create and maintain configuration documentation, system and operations documentation, and knowledge base articles.
,
Ā Act as primary point of contact for outages and escalations and assist Incident Managers in emergency scenarios.
,
Ā Monitor ticket tracking system for newly assigned tasks.
,
Ā Monitor and report on all networks, systems, and applications in a 24x7 operations center.
,
Ā Handle routine operations requests such as adding new users and restarting services.
,
Ā Implement and follow all policies and procedures for monitoring, testing product availability, and incident management.
Requirements
Ā Associate degree or equivalent experience.
,
Ā 5-7 years' experience in a related field.
,
Ā Prior experience with major incident management programs is a plus.
,
Ā Experience with NOC tools, network management systems, and escalation procedures.
,
Ā Solid understanding of Windows administration and application resource utilization monitoring.
,
Ā Solid understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting skills, including DNS, IP, and network hardware.
,
Ā Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure - Active Directory domains, DNS, DHCP, Windows Security, Group Policies, etc.
,
Ā Knowledge of cloud platforms and virtualization software, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
,
Ā Experience in managing and supporting virtualized environments in VMWare.
,
Ā Basic understanding of load-balancers and web session state troubleshooting.
,
Ā Ability to identify inefficiencies and provide solutions to improve systems and processes.
,
Ā Experience supporting web application solutions including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
,
Ā Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ā Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
