SQL Server Administrator (REMOTE)

The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and hold excellent communication skills. The candidate should have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in daily administration activities including monitoring, support, and maintenance of SQL Server databasesAbility to do code review, troubleshoot, and assist application developers with database design and/or modificationExperience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience5+ year of writing complex SQL queriesPowerShell / Python / Bash ScriptingWorking knowledge of SSISREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in fast moving environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks with different deadlinesDesire to learn and improve your skills.Perform other tasks as assigned by managerAssist the help desk staff to troubleshoot SQL and database errorsEEOC STATEMENT:Medlogix is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
