SQL ENGINEER
Contract Remote 6-10 Years Apply Online Refer & Earn Job Summary/ Responsibilities Job Title: SQL Engineer Location: Remote Responsibilities: • Design and develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and ETL processes for legacy data migration. • Analyze existing data sources and structures to map and migrate data accurately into the target repository. • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements. • Troubleshoot migration and performance issues and ensure efficient data movement. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy/security standards. Required Experience: • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Engineer / Developer or Data Migration Specialist. • Expertise in T-SQL, query optimization, and database scripting. • Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory). • Proven background in migrating data from legacy systems to modern platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or cloud). • Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and healthcare data models (EHR, EMR, HL7/FHIR preferred). Desired Experience: • Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Snowflake. • Prior experience in large-scale healthcare data integration projects. • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
