We're seeking a highly motivated and creative Spring Paid Intern to join our Onyx Collective Social Media team, where you'll play a key role in supporting marketing campaigns for originals and the brand. As a content brand within Hulu Originals and formed under Disney Entertainment, Onyx Collective is dedicated to curating premium programming by creators of color and underrepresented voices.
About the Role & Program
In this exciting internship, you'll be exposed to the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the entertainment marketing field, gaining hands-on experience in social media campaign building, project management, internal/external communication, and receiving continuous mentorship from our dedicated team members. You'll engage in brainstorming discussions, bring forth new creative social media ideas, and conduct social media research to stay ahead of the latest trends.
Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of social media campaigns for Onyx Collective originals and brand initiatives
Conduct social media research and gather creative social media trends to inform campaign strategies
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm innovative social media ideas and concepts
Assist in project management, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks and projects
Develop and maintain internal/external communications, including social media content and reports
Requirements
Familiarity with social media platforms and the changing social media landscape
Experience developing and communicating innovative and creative social media ideas
Collaborative mindset with experience working in team environments and managing multiple projects
High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience handling confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience (academic or internship) in a related industry
Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
Education and Eligibility
Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university or recently graduated within 6 months
Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year or recently graduated within the past 6 months preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization
