The role involves reviewing video content, editing images, and ensuring the accuracy of sports-related editorial content in real time.ResponsibilitiesReview, clip, and edit video content, ensuring all content matches style guides providedReview, and edit images to create a compelling visual customer experienceReview, and edit content metadata, to ensure all data remains accurateWatching live games and tracking statisticsCommunicating relevant scenarios in real-timeWriting copy and sports-related editorialResearching, stat tracking, and verifying accuracy of the contentOther tasks as assignedSkillsAvailable to work nights, weekends, and game days, as assignedPassion for sports, and story-telling through engaging video and written content, with strong emphasis on North American soccerAbility to follow style guides, with editorial story-telling instinctsSelf-starter, detail-oriented, with ability to handle repetitive tasksAbility to follow, track, and review inbound video content of multiple sporting events, simultaneously while maintaining extremely high content standardsStrong research skillsPrevious experience with video editing tools (iMovie, Premier Pro, etc.)Previous experience with Content Management SystemsPrevious experience with creating sports highlight packagesThis is a hybrid role - working onsite at the client's facility 2-3 days per weekMust be willing to work flexible hours and weekends onsite at the office located in Cupertino, CA.
