The Role

This role offers a unique balance of external market engagement and hands-on portfolio execution, allowing you to influence strategy while delivering measurable commercial impact.

• Lead long-term portfolio strategy and lifecycle management, including launches, pilots, and sunsetting decisions.

• Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into clear investment priorities and roadmaps.

• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Content teams to execute portfolio plans.

• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to respond to market, competitive, and technology shifts.
About You

• You bring experience in portfolio, product, or commercial management within education, technology, or a related industry.

• You are highly analytical and comfortable using data to inform investment and prioritization decisions.

• You thrive in cross-functional environments and influence without authority.

• You are customer-obsessed, commercially minded, and energized by balancing near-term results with long-term growth.

• You demonstrate Pearson’s essential behaviors through collaboration, curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Get

• The opportunity to shape the future of Pearson’s higher education portfolio and make a meaningful impact on learners.

• Exposure to senior leaders and the ability to influence strategic investment decisions.

• A collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on learning, innovation, and inclusion.

• Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities aligned to your region and role level.
