A Day in the Role As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in processing various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews. Your primary responsibilities will include: Extracting data from medical documents and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks Utilizing critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with metrics and quotas Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: Processing high volumes of medical documents in a timely and accurate manner Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless workflow and resolve issues Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to manage and analyze data Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of remote work experience Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred Reliable high-speed internet connection Personal computer or laptop (no Chromebooks) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Excellent critical thinking, communication, and customer service skills Essential Qualifications In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
