THE JOB

The Specialist, Social is responsible for managing the execution of Disney’s paid social media plans. The Specialist is responsible for working with the Social team across their specialty platforms to execute campaign strategies supporting the client goals.

Responsibilities Include
• Strong knowledge of the paid social landscape and best practices (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest)
• Development of paid social tactics for current campaigns including implementation and maintenance of multiple, simultaneous media plans
• Build strong relationships with client counterparts and help manage day-to-day relationships, overall problem solving, and troubleshooting
• Develop complex audience targeting
• Manage daily budget pacing and understand basic bid management and optimizations
• Report and analyze on key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement
• Thorough QA of all campaign executions and reporting
• Check for accuracy, timeliness and quality of all outputs
• Optimize content calendars and search and social plans to produce rigorous and clean data
• Ability to write clearly and concisely and present orally in an articulate and confident manner

YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in paid social execution including planning, executing, and optimizing
• A solid understanding of all major biddable platforms Facebook Power Editor, Twitter Ads, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
• Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
• Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient skills in Word and PowerPoint
• Mastery of intermediate Excel skills
• Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
• Knowledge of ad serving, tagging, and media billing tools a plus

This is a hybrid role based in Burbank, CA.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$60,000—$67,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
